How we work
Three habits we do not bend.
01One planner per customer
Nobody is passed between departments here. You own your lanes, and your customers know your name.
02A week in the yard
Office staff spend a week a year on the dock, in a cab or at the customs desk. You plan better once you have loaded a trailer.
03Home when we said
Rosters go out four weeks ahead and drivers are home every second night. We plan people as carefully as freight.
A day in the yard
From first gate to last key.
Rotterdam, an ordinary Tuesday. Scroll through it.
05:30
Gates open
The night shift hands over. Forty trailers are checked, fuelled and matched to their paperwork.
07:00
First wave leaves
Drivers pull out for the ferry and the German border. Planners watch the first scans come in.
10:30
Customs window
Brokers file the afternoon's entries. Anything that may be held is flagged before lunch.
13:00
Lunch, together
One long table in the canteen. Drivers, planners and the director eat the same soup.
16:00
Inbound docks
Containers from Antwerp and chilled loads from Lyon are unloaded and sorted for tomorrow.
21:00
Night plan locked
Tomorrow's routes are fixed, the yard is walked and the night shift takes the keys.
