A pallet of salad, an engine block and a sofa do not travel the same way. Six sectors, each with its own planners, equipment and rules.

Who we move for
A pallet of trainers and a pallet of vaccines do not travel alike. This is what changes from one industry to the next, and what we do about it.

01/ 06
Stock in before the season starts, orders out the day they are placed, returns back on the shelf.
How we handle it
Stock booked in against the purchase order the day it lands
Orders placed by 16:00 leave the same evening
Returns checked, graded and back on the shelf within 48 hours

02/ 06
Parts timed to the line: a truck that arrives in its slot, not somewhere near it.
How we handle it
Delivery slots agreed with the plant to the quarter hour
Line-side parts sequenced in the order they are fitted
A standby truck at the hub for every critical lane

03/ 06
Chilled and frozen loads with the temperature on record from the dock to the door.
How we handle it
Trailers pre-cooled and checked before the dock door opens
Temperature logged every five minutes and sent with the proof of delivery
Chilled, frozen and ambient on one multi-temperature truck

04/ 06
Medicines and devices in validated packaging, with a data logger in every shipment.
How we handle it
Validated packaging on lanes qualified to GDP
A data logger in every shipment, read on arrival
Quarantine and release inside our own cold rooms

05/ 06
Machines, steel and anything that needs a crane, a permit or an escort to get there.
How we handle it
Route surveys, permits and escorts arranged by one planner
Cranes and low-loaders booked with the truck, not after it
Lashing plans signed off before anything is lifted

06/ 06
Sofas and flat-packs from the factory to the shop floor without a scuffed corner.
How we handle it
Two-person delivery to the room of choice
Blanket-wrapped or boxed, never stacked on a corner
Every piece photographed at collection and at the door
