How the load moved.
Brightleaf packs salad in Murcia that has to reach depots in the Netherlands and the UK within 60 hours at 2 to 5 °C. Every trailer on the lane now carries two temperature probes that report with its position, and our planners see a drift before the driver does. Twice last summer a failing fridge unit was spotted on the road and the load was moved to another trailer at our Lyon depot. Not one of 2,600 loads was rejected at the door.
Twice a fridge unit failed on the road. Twice the load was on another trailer before we knew.
