What it is
Rail suits freight that is too urgent for the sea and too heavy for a plane. Block trains leave our terminals in Duisburg and Milan five days a week, and the Asia service reaches Europe in around 16 days. A container on rail produces roughly a quarter of the emissions of the same box on the road, and we put the figure on every invoice. We collect and deliver the first and last miles by truck.
