Halden Home buys from nine factories around Ho Chi Minh City and used to ship from each one separately. We now collect from all nine into one shed, load full containers in the order the shops need them and sail on a fixed weekly service to Rotterdam. Customs is cleared while the ship is at sea. Door-to-door time fell from 44 days to 36, and the autumn range reached every shop a week before the catalogue did.
